Haunted Investigations

Stephen has helped with several investigations of alleged haunted locations. Psychic art can add a fascinating dimension to an investigation, bringing some visual evidence of the spirits present in a place. Spirit drawing is another tool used by paranormal investigators to help validate the existence of spiritual activity.

Working with and protected by his spirit guide, Stephen draws by the light of a small torch in an otherwise darkened room. While the rest of the investigation team are sitting quietly or monitoring the temperature, sounds, or light anomolies in the room, Stephen sketches rapidly at his drawing board. The image of a spirit presence develops on the paper before him, and as Stephen works he gets impressions, words, names and emotions from the spirit he is drawing. This information is then later confirmed or cooberated by staff or other members of the investigation team.

Stephen has worked with paranormal investigation teams at venues such as the George and Pilgrim Inn in Glastonbury, and St. Briavels Castle in Gloucestershire.

At the George and Pilgrim, Stephen described and drew the image of a man who had been seen by members of the group during an investigation held the year before.

Over a period of two investigations at St. Briavels, Stephen made several drawings during vigils held throughout this medieval fortress. The information received through drawing and clairvoyance was later backed up by the staff of the investigation team: Phantom Fest. (see the links page for more information about Phantom Fest)

The drawings here are just some examples of the spirits drawn during these investigations.
